The use of the payment features associated with the account information is solely at the user's risk. The City of Grand Rapids will not have access to any banking and/or credit card information as the information that is provided resides solely with JPMorgan Chase.

    The City of Grand Rapids reserves the right to invoke all legal defenses to any actions for damages, including, but not limited to, the defense of the doctrine of governmental immunity. Use or reliance on any of the material provided herein is at the user's risk and the user assumes all such risk. We accept eCheck payments by using information you input from your checking or savings accounts (a copy of a blank check will help). We also accept credit card payments from Master Card, Visa, or Discover. No convenience fee is charged for water/sewer service bill payments made with your credit card or by eCheck. The eCheck and credit card payments are accepted only as a conditional payment. If not honored by a bank, the water bill is unpaid and subject to unpaid penalties/fees. After locating your account information on the next web page, you will be transferred over to JPMorgan Chase's web site. Your payment will be processed directly with JPMorgan Chase over a secure connection. If paying by eCheck, you are required to input your account number due to banking regulations. Transactions may take up to two business days for your account balance to be updated online for viewing in your account history.

    Water Customer Service Center matters include speaking to a customer service representative about finding a specific address that you cannot locate using the account/address search tool (the water service address may vary from the parcel number address {two or more water services may be on one parcel}), speaking to a customer service representative about the balance due, payment options for credit card or other automated EZ pay payments (Quarterly Only), moving in or moving out, the amount to pay to restore water service, the need to turn water on/off for inspections, inquiries from agencies needing to speak to a person about account information, inquiries about the balance on an account and/or due date, answering a question about when will my next or new bill come out, hours and locations, or a water fax number, and water emergencies such as water main break in the street or your yard or a pipe broken in your house or building,
