The Recycling and Refuse service group is committed to making the City of Grand Rapids one of cleanest and most sustainable cities in the United States. We aim to leverage the latest innovation in waste systems management and single stream recycling to reduce the environmental and financial impact of waste in the Grand Rapids region. We recognize our responsiblity and partnership with the people of Grand Rapids and Kent County to make the world clean, healthy, and sustainable.
