A dedicated Parks Millage was approved by Grand Rapids voters on November 5, 2013. This 7-year millage provides funding for repair, rehabilitation, and new improvements to parks, pools, and playgrounds.

What's happening now | Planning for three parks was completed in the fall of 2016 for construction in the summer of 2017. Community meetings were scheduled with neighborhood associations to gain community input on park design and improvements.

Aberdeen Park - Completed concept plan available here.
Alexander Park - Concept plan is in final stages of design.
Ball Perkins Park - Completed concept plan available here.
Bike Park - Second community meeting TBD
Huff Park - Upgrades to boardwalk, bathroom, and playground. Concept plan is in final stages of design.
