    "Firefighter For A Day" winner Alexia Rufus

    Congratulations to Alexia Rufus who was the winner of the 2013 Firefighter for a day drawing held at the 4th Annual Fire Rescue Expo. Alexia will spend they day with firefighters and get to ride along on fire alarms, view the city from the bucket of a 100' aerial ladder truck, ride the wave runner or rescue boat, eat lunch with the firefighters and whatever else we can get done in a day. Thank you to everyone who entered the drawing, be sure to look for the 2014 Fire Rescue Expo next May!

      GRFD Unveils New Beta Test Dashboard
      Welcome to our new GRFD Dashboard! This interactive feature is updated monthly and shows the emergency incident activity for the GRFD. Categories are broken down into standard National Fire Incident Reporting segments with a brief description discussing what types of incidents can be found in their respective category. In addition to current year data, you have the ability to compare to the same time frame from the previous year to look for trends. We hope you enjoy the information and welcome any feedback which can be sent to rpease@grcity.us in the strategic planning office.
