    Creating an E-Services Account

    What Can I do in the new E-Services System?

    You can view your account balance, Due Date, View your current bill, Pay your bill online, or "Go Green" and enroll in paperless billing. You can also view your past statements from the Billing History Tab, Manage your Profile, and Read the Latest Inserts.

    How do I start an E-Services Account?

    Navigate to grcity.us/eServices. Click on the Sign up for eServices link. Then click the 'New User' button. You will be prompted to enter your water-sewer account number located at the top of your statement. Confirm that you are registering for the listed service address. Select a User Name and Password. Enter your Contact Information and Security Settings. Accept the Terms & Conditions. Continue to View your account.

    Can I get my bill emailed to me?

    Yes, once you've enrolled in eServices, there will be an option to 'Go Green!'. To enroll in paperless billing and recieve your water-sewer bill by email, click the 'Go Green!' button located in the 'Paperless Billing' column or click the plus (+) button located next to your water-sewer account number. The system will confirm that you want to update your eServices Account. If you select OK, you will be signed up for paperless billing. The Paperless Billing column will say 'Green!'. You will start receiving bills and notices via email immediately and will no longer receive paper bills. If you decide later that e-billing doesn't work for you, you can go back to paper bills at any time.

    Can I pay my bill online?

    Yes, once enrolled in eServices there will be a Pay Now button that will take you to our grpayit payment site where you can pay your bill, or schedule a future payment with no convenience fees. You will be able to view your balance, view current and past bills, pay your bill and sign-up for paperless billing.

    Can I view my bill and billing history online?

    Yes, navigate to "grcity.us/eServices", select the Sign up for eServices link. Then click on the New User button and follow the instructions to create a new eServices Account. You will be able to view your balance, view current and past bills, pay your bill and sign-up for paperless billing.

    What if I don't want to create an eServices Account, can I still pay online?

    To pay without creating an eServices Account, click: here.

    If I create an eServices Account does that mean that I will no longer get paper bills?

    You will not automatically be signed up for paperless billing. You can access your bills and billing history, Manage multiple accounts, export billed amoutns to Excel, recieve email alerts when bills are ready, pay your bill online without going paperless. If you do choose to go paperless, all you have to do is click the 'Go Green' button next to your account information.

    Paying Online

    Are there fees for paying online?

    No, we do not charge a fee for online payments if you use our eServices website or our grpayit website.

    Receiving Paperless Bills

    If I sign-up for paperless billing, will I still receive paper bills by US mail?

    If you click on the Go Green button to go paperless, you will start receiving bills and notices via email immediately and will no longer receive paper bills. If you decide later that e-billing doesn't work for you, you can go back to paper bills at any time.

    How soon will I receive a paperless bill?

    Paperless billing will start as soon as you select the 'Go Green' option.

    If I decide I want to start receiving a paper bill again, can I opt out of paperless billing?

    You may opt out at any time by loggin on to your eServices account, grcity.myseruredservices.com then clicking the 'Cancel Paperless Billing' button.

    Balance Updates on eServices Accounts

    I just made a payment online but my eServices Account balance hasn�t changed. How long will it take to update?

    The Current Account Balance displayed with your bill on eServices is updated the next business day for payments made prior to 9:00 pm. However, eCheck payments made on a weekend or holiday may take up to two business days to update your account. NOTE: If your account is past due and you would like to avoid a cutoff deadline, or your water is off for nonpayment, please pay in-person at City Hall. Online transactions can take up to two business days for your account balance to be updated and to restore water service. Same day transactions cannot be cancelled.

    Password/Username/Profile Info

    I forgot my password.

    There is an 'I forgot My Password' link on the E Services Log on page . Click on that link and follow the prompts.

    I forgot my username.

    From the E Services Log on page , click on the 'I forgot My Username'link. You will be required to enter the email address that you used to sign up for eServices. You will then receive an email containing your username..

    How do I change my profile information?

    Once you login to the website, you can click 'Manage My Profile' in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Click Edit to the right of the section you would like to change. When you are done, click 'Save Changes'.

    Paperless Billing

    How do I start paperless billing?

    You can enroll in paperless billing from the eServices, Account Overview page by clicking the 'Go Green!' button under the 'Paperless Billing' column or by clicking the plus (+) button next to your eServices Account number and selecting the 'Go Green!' button. The system will confirm that you want to update your E-Services Account. If you select OK, you will be signed up for paperless billing. The Paperless Billing column will say 'Green!'.

    How do I cancel my paperless billing?

    From the eServices Account Overview page, click on the plus (+) button next to your eServices account number. Select the 'Cancel Paperless Billing' button. The system will confirm that you want to update your eServices account. If you select OK, you will return to US mail paper billing and the 'Paperless Billing' column will have a 'Go Green!' button.

    How can I tell if I am enrolled in paperless billing?

    Open your E-Services Account Overview page. Under the "Paperless Billing' column, it will say 'Green'. Also, if you click on the plus button (+) next to your E-Services Account number, there will be a checkmark next to 'Paperless Billing'.

    Can you sign me up for paperless billing?

    No, I am sorry, but you will need to set up your own eServices account and password for security reasons.

    Billing History

    How do I view my previous months bill history?

    To view up to 13 months of previous billing bills and reminder statements, click the 'Billing History' button in the top navigation bar. Or you can click on your eServices account number on the eServices Account Overview page

    Adding/Removing eServices

    Can I add more than one water-sewer account to my profile?

    You can add multiple water-sewer accounts to your eServices portal. From the eServices Account Overview page, simply click the 'Add an Account'. This option is located below the eServices Account Number column. You will be asked to verify information for each a account that you add. Once completed, the water-sewer account will appear on the Account Overview page.

    Can I remove a water-sewer account from my eServices profile?

    Yes, you can remove an eServices water-sewer account by clicking the red X located in the last column on your eServices overview page. The system will confirm that you want to remove the eServices Account. Click 'OK' and the eServices water-sewer account will be removed from your profile. NOTE: Removing a water-sewer account from your eServices provile does not 'close' the account.

    Managing Multiple Accounts

    What are some of the benefits for individuals,landlords and businesses with multiple utility accounts

    Registered users can manage all of their Grand Rapids water-sewer utility accounts from one eServices portal. Access curremt and past bill prints, account balances, due dates and up to 13 months of bill history. Click Pay Now to pay online. Recieve email alerts when bills are ready. Export billed amounts to Excel for easy summary and remitance.
