    New Mobile Applications

The City of Grand Rapids Mobile GR & Parking Department recognizes that informing

our customers is going to be key to their successfully understanding and choosing the
new parking and transportation options that fits their lifestyle.

To help market, educate and communicate these options to the public, we are utilizing
two new free mobile apps – GR Park and myStop Mobile – that smart phone users can
download to instantly navigate their array of downtown travel and parking opportunities.

    GR Park

This app helps eliminate the challenges of finding parking in Grand Rapids. The app
displays real-time parking availability for parking facilities in the downtown area, sorted
by proximity to the customer. The app also provides useful information to help visitors
    make smart choices.

    myStop Mobile

myStop Mobile provides real-time traveler information with an easy-to-navigate user
    interface, including such features as:
    Trip planning
    Real-time vehicle arrival information
Accurate route and stop map views
Alerts so you don’t miss your bus
    Walking directions to any stop
“Nearest Stops” tool lists closest stops by distance

The Rapid is one of 19 public transportation authorities across the United States that
    syncs with myStop Mobile.
