    Authority MCL 125.981 et. seq.
    Purpose The board shall operate as a Business Improvement District Board with all of the authority and responsibilities of such a Board under P.A. 120 of 1961.  The Board consists of sixteen (16) members.  One member is to be a representative of the City.  The other members shall be nominees of the business and property owners of the District and shall include representatives from throughout the District, in as much as is practical.
    Residency requirement

    None.

    Appointment Members are appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Commission on January 1 of each year.
    Term Each member's term is three (3) years and not subject to the Service Limitation Policy.
    Meetings Meetings are subject to call.
